Featuring works by: Rebecca Zelanin & Rodger Williams
About Rebecca Zelanin:
Inspired by the set I created for the Red Herring production of "Mr. Marmalade" at Franklinton Playhouse, in this series intersecting circles, squares and triangles explore color as it overlaps and intersects. Like a map, a place or point may be found. Like directions sometimes that specific place is ambiguous.
About Rodger Williams:
Rodger J Williams is a large scale deconstuctivist artist: deconstructing geometry, anime and images with formal layers and irreverent overlaps. In this example, “Aurora in Bloom: Horn of Plenty,” carrots gaze affectionately at a French cupcake with bee’s wings just before she passes through the black hole. What will come out on the other side? Everything good! Currently on display as an 8ft by 10ft mural in Pearl Alley.
